It’s been a busy week for the Appdetex team packed with lots of exciting announcements and events. To kick off the week, on Monday, May 2nd, we announced via a press release that we are extending our record of innovation in digital brand protection to include Web 3 and blockchain domain names.

We made the announcement at the INTA Live event, but first, our team attended the IACC Annual Meeting.

We shared a booth with our colleagues from LexisNexis, presenting a unified front in talking about modern brand protection, online brand protection services, and demonstrating our patent-pending, Tracer® technology.

The discussions at panels, workshops, and table topics at both events were thought-provoking. While at IACC, Fiona Gao of LexisNexis participated in a panel discussing “The Role of Social Media in Counterfeiting and Other Illicit Activities.”

Protecting brands in the modern digital universe was a key theme at INTA. Faisal Shah, founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Appdetex, led the table topic “Protecting Your Brand In The New NFT World” while at INTA.

We wrapped up our time in D.C. by spending Monday night attending the World Trademark Review Industry Awards.

Appdetex CEO Rick Farnell was on hand to present the award to the Internet and Telecom team winner, Verizon. Congratulations also to the shortlist of nominees in this category; Charter Communications, Deutsche Telekom, Google, and Huawei.

We were happy to catch up with friends and peers we haven’t seen in person as well as make new connections while in DC.  It was a great week and we are looking forward to more in-person industry events!

If you were unable to catch us in person at either of these conferences, we’d still love to connect and discuss our online brand protection services and how we can help streamline your brand protection priorities. Click here to reach out to our team.
